As we continue to adjust to the many ways our world is constantly shifting, we often believe that if we can just change certain aspects of ourselves or the world (such as appearances, finances, physical health, relationships, frustrating loved ones, politics, prejudices, etc.) then we will find the ultimate “happiness” for which we have been striving. However, just learning to be present with and accept all of life’s challenges, though uncomfortable at times, may bring about the biggest change of all for living a peaceful life.
I have been practicing clinical psychology for 19 years and provide psychotherapy and neuropsychological evaluations, psychoeducational/psychological evaluations to individuals of all ages and cultures. My specialties include mood, anxiety, and trauma related disorders, personality and psychotic spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental/neurocognitive disorders, cancer and chronic illness, spirituality, and bereavement.
My intent in being a psychologist is to try to serve another human being who is struggling with life's changes in the most honest, genuine way possible with my clinical skills, ongoing psychological education, and building a strong therapeutic alliance between myself and an individual in need. I look forward to helping in any way I can.
